This scholarship is awarded in the form of a £4,000 tuition fee waiver and is open to students who are living in Nigeria at the point of application.
Eligibility and availability
- You must have received a conditional or unconditional offer of admission for an eligible postgraduate taught course at the University of Stirling starting in January 2026, September 2026 or January 2027.
- You must be classed as an International student for tuition fee purposes.
- You must be living in Nigeria at the point of application.
- You must enter directly into a full-time postgraduate degree programme, delivered at the University’s Stirling campus.
- This scholarship cannot be combined with any other Stirling scholarship or award (the exception being the University of Stirling’s Sports Scholarships). If offered more than one University of Stirling award, then the highest value award will be applied.
How to apply
Eligible students will automatically be identified as part of the admissions process and a scholarship offer sent usually within one week of receiving an offer to study. No separate application is required for this award.
Once a scholarship offer is made, you will be required to pay a £1,000 deposit to secure the scholarship by the relevant deadline outlined below. Details of how to pay will be included in the scholarship offer letter.
