Raise your profile

Connecting with our students and sharing your knowledge and experience is a great opportunity for raising your profile with Stirling students. Depending on your needs we can help advise you on the best way to do this.

University-wide careers events

All our events benefit from employer participation and are free of charge. Our students are always keen to hear about sector insights and recruitment processes directly from employers.

We hold sector specific twilight events throughout the autumn semester. These can take various formats including panel events, spotlight talks, networking and mini careers fairs. During our Spring semester we hold a large-scale event targeting multiple sectors and faculty areas.

If you are interested in contributing to our events programme please contact us at employers@stir.ac.uk check out our LinkedIn page for event updates and login to TARGETconnect to review our event calendar and book.

Skills webinar

Professional Skills Academy

The Professional Skills Academy (PSA) is a new platform which will co-ordinate opportunities for students to upskill through a host of activities. Acting like a ‘CPD hub’, the PSA will bring together existing activities offered across the university as well as providing the opportunity to complete digital badges on specific professional skills as well as opportunities for more insight and engagement with employers.

Inspiring progress

The PSA will inspire, educate, and prepare students for the future workplace by building their personal and professional skills to support their learning, professional development, and progress. Its aim is to create a culture of continuous professional and learning development which responds to student’s upskilling needs when required.
