Tennis Ambassadors x4

University of Stirling Sport is looking to recruit enthusiastic Tennis Ambassadors to drive the success of their Tennis Programmes. These volunteer roles will see Tennis Ambassadors work closely with the Tennis Development Officer and Stirling University Tennis Club committee, gaining skills in the core areas of tennis development within Higher Education. The following roles are available:

  • Coaching Ambassador
  • Officiating Ambassador
  • Communications and Digital Media Ambassador
  • Event Management and Sports Development Ambassador

Sports Assistants x3

University of Stirling Sport is looking to recruit enthusiastic Sports Assistants who will support across a broad range of sports facilities and with the implementation of the University of Stirling Sport strategy relating to facilities management by maintaining and improving customer service. 

The role holder will be expected to show excellence in customer care when dealing with all enquires and provide a responsive sports assistant service, prepare activity and associated areas for use, ensure that activity areas are safe and monitor the use of all sports and associated areas.

Senior Sports Attendant

University of Stirling Sport is looking to recruit a Senior Sports Attendant who will assist with the day-to-day building operations and staffing supervision of the sports facilities at University of Stirling. The role holder will ensure the delivery of the highest standard of customer care, sufficient staffing levels, health and safety and facility presentation.

The post holder will co-ordinate, motivate and deploy staff to ensure tasks are performed to the highest level. The role holder will be expected to show excellence in customer care when dealing with all enquires and provide a responsive lifeguarding and sports attendant service, prepare activity and associated areas for use, ensure that activity areas are safe and monitor the use of all sports and associated areas.

The position is for a fixed term of 12 months.

The closing date for applications is midnight on Monday 09 September 2024.
Interviews are expected to take place on Thursday 19 September 2024.

Strength and Conditioning Coach

University of Stirling Sport is looking to hire an enthusiastic strength and conditioning coach who will be responsible for the co-ordination and provision of strength and conditioning expertise and other related support services, to meet the needs of the University’s high performance athletes, identified student clubs and external partners.
