Workshops

Our workshops are available at an additional cost to the membership. They are designed to provide focus and development of a specific area of fitness. 

Workshops will be over a set length of time between 4-8 weeks and sessions will take place at the same time each week. The aim of a workshop is to progress and improve in skills from when you start. 

A new timetable will be released every 3 months.

Autumn workshops

August - October 2024

A yoga practice to help you feel balanced, calm and connected. No experience needed for this workshop.

Blankets and mats are provided but we recommend bringing your own for comfort. Prepare to relax and unwind.

Group PT 11/09/2024 18:00-19:00 High-Performance Suite 6 weeks A 6-week workshop led by our Personal Trainer, Fiona. The aim of the workshop is to improve your full body strength, whilst providing valuable education that can be used in a strength and conditioning environment.
Level 2 Lifting 24/09/2024 19:00-20:00 High-Performance Suite 5 weeks Level 2 Lifting is a 5-week workshop designed to progress training with free weights. Led by Jen, this workshop builds on fundamental lifts; Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift, and introduces more complex movements. It aims to enhance your technique, strength, and confidence, ensuring you can perform advanced lifts effectively and safely in the gym.
Level 1 Lifting 25/09/2024 19:00-20:00 High-Performance Suite 5 weeks

Level 1 Lifting is a 5-week workshop with the goal of introducing free weights training to your training regime.

The workshop will be coached by Aria and will cover the main lifts (Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift) plus more.

The workshop aims to improve your knowledge and understanding of free weight training, improve your technique and build your confidence while performing these movements so you are comfortable performing them in the gym yourself.

Handstands 25/09/2024 12:15-13:15 Sports Hall 2 1 day Have you ever wanted to learn to stand on your hands? Now is your chance, with this 4-week course. It is a beginner friendly workshop, where you will learn how to safely progress on your upside-down journey. 
Mini Retreat 29/09/2024 10:00-17:30 Iris Murdoch Building 1 day The day will consist of many different styles of yoga, delivered by our highly qualified team. This day is all about relaxing so join in with as many classes as you like. Luxury welcome gift, lunch, tea and coffee provided. This is one not to be missed!  
Headstands 02/10/2024 12:15-13:15 Sports Hall 2 1 day Have you ever wanted to learn to stand on your head? Now is your chance, with this 4-week course. It is a beginner friendly workshop, where you will learn how to safely progress on your upside-down journey. 
Pelvic Floor 02/10/2024 19:25-20:55 Studios 1/2 1 day We will learn all about the pelvic floor and how we can support these muscles at whatever age you are, through exercises, breathwork and discuss how toilet habits can better assist you with your pelvic floor. Everyone is welcome, meet at reception. 
PT Camp 13/10/2024 TBC High-Performance Suite 1 day  
Learn how to do the Splits in 4 weeks 16/10/2024 12:15-13:00 Studio 2 4 weeks Want to learn a new party trick? With consistent practice & the right stretches, the splits are within anyone’s reach, even if you're a beginner. Over the 4-week workshop you will learn how to safety stretch the spine & lower body to achieve the splits. This workshop will be tailored to every level weather you can touch your toes or not.

Have performing Bodyweight movements such as pull ups and press ups always been in your interest? Join this 4-week workshop and learn the skills to progress and master control of your own bodyweight.

Finish Strong 06/11/2024 10:45-11:45 Cycle Studio/Studio 3 6 weeks

In this 6-week strength workshop led by our Fitness Officer and PT Sam, you will learn how to build strength, maintain it and become the strongest version of yourself. Finish Strong this year!
