Current students and applicants can chat live with staff from the Student Services Hub, Admissions or Information Services via the portal from 9am - 4:30pm (BST) Monday to Friday. Tuesdays only are from 10am - 4:30pm. The Student Hub team are also available on live chat from 10am - 2pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Money support drop-ins

We offer drop-in sessions throughout the year where a team member can provide support and guidance on any financial challenges, including any additional support you may be eligible for through the Discretionary and Assistance funds.

We will guide you through the application process if needed and can assist with:

  • the evidence that you may need for your application;
  • trouble with completing the application process or form;
  • help filling out your form or workbook;
  • other general questions.

Find our drop-in sessions on the ground floor of Campus Central, beside our Student Services Hub.

Money adviser appointments

We offer appointments with our Money Adviser, should you require a more in-depth conversation relating to any money or budgeting queries, including concerns you may have with changes in income. 

All appointments are available face to face or by MS Teams video call. Contact the Student Services Hub to book an appointment via your online portal (live chat), by calling 01786 466 022, or emailing ask@stir.ac.uk to request an appointment
