Professor Kevin Grant
Deputy Principal (Entrepreneurship) and Executive Dean, Stirling Business School
Professor Kevin Grant is an experienced management professional with a Doctorate from the University of Edinburgh and terminal degrees from Lancaster and Napier.
He is also a Chartered IT Professional, and holds Fellowships of the British Computer Society, the Chartered Management Institute and the Higher Education Academy.
He joined higher education in 1992 and has worked in various roles at a range of UK institutions, including Napier, Glasgow Caledonian, Sussex and Kent universities.
Prior to joining the University of Stirling in 2019, he was Director of the School of Business at the University Of Dundee and Deputy Director of the Kent Business School, University of Kent.
His academic interests relate to technology and innovation and the triple helix (University, Industry and Government Interaction).
Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Principal and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Grant is tasked with leading and driving entrepreneurship and plays a full and key part in shaping the overall strategic direction of the University.
