As part of the university's BeConnected programme (free community building activities for students and staff), we've lined up a great range of free creative workshops that you can come along and try this semester.

All of the workshops are delivered by incredible local businesses and designed to help you enjoy your time on campus, take a breather from studies/work, meet new people, and learn a new trick or two! The schedule for workshops is as below:

  • Wednesday 25 September (17:30 to 19:30, Atrium Triangle): Highland 'Coo' Canvas Painting with Blaeberry River Art
  • Monday 14 October (17:30 to 19:00, Room 3.04): Mini Macrame Plant Hanger Making with A Moment Entwine
  • Thursday 17 October (13:00 to 14:30, Room 3.04): Mini Macrame Plant Hanger Making with A Moment Entwine
  • Tuesday 5 November (13:00 to 15:00, Room 3.04): Natural Cream/Herbal Salt Making with Herbal Homestead

Sound up your street? Simply book your preferred date(s) via the link (booking for each workshop will open around one month before the event date).

We will send out a further email nearer the time to confirm final details and please ensure you bring your QR code with you for check-in as these are all ticketed events.

We expect these sessions to sell out quickly. If you are unable to grab a ticket, please feel free to pop by on the day and we will accommodate you if there are spaces available.
