Free Movie Nights for Students

In partnership with Macrobert Arts Centre, we're offering a limited number of free tickets to pyjama movie screenings throughout semester 1. Movie choice will be confirmed no later than 1 week prior to the event via email and follow the below themes:

Sunday 26 October: Halloween Pyjama Screening from 19:00, drink and snack included. The film showing for this event is Apocalypse Now: The Final Cut. a retelling of Joseph Conrad's short classic Heart of Darkness, set in 1969 during the Vietnam War. The story traces the journey of a special forces captain (Willard) through the violent combat zones of Vietnam on a secret assignment to terminate the life of a field commander called Kurtz, who has set up a ruthless dictatorship. This film is rated R (restricted - children under 17 require accompanying parent or adult guardian).

Sunday 14 December: Christmas Pyjama Screening from 19:30, drink and snack included. Movie TBC.

Sound up your street? Simply book your preferred date(s) via the link (booking will open by 1 Sep) and then head to the Macrobert Reception 10 minutes before (18:50) start time to check in for your ticket, and grab your snack! We may be unable to check you in if you arrive late and spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis on the night.
