Abstract
The series editor's preface introduces a monograph by Mukarrum Ahmed. Dr Ahmed's work advocates a hybrid approach to understanding why choice of court agreements are given effect to which is a combination of State and private interests. He gives extensive analysis of the remedies for a breach of a choice of court agreement - in particular damages and anti-suit injunctions.
