Wellness Within the Walls

Join us for a rejuvenating wellness retreat at the historic Airthrey Castle, on the beautiful University of Stirling campus.

Based over the full weekend, you’ll enjoy a two-night stay at the Stirling Court Hotel, including nourishing breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and a rich programme of over 18 wellness activities designed to restore body, mind, and spirit.

Morning Walk to the Wallace Monument
Begin your day with a refreshing walk up to the historic Wallace Monument, where nature and history come together. As you follow the winding woodland paths, you’ll be surrounded by fresh morning air, birdsong, and the gentle rustle of trees. At the top, the views open up across Stirling, the River Forth, and the rolling hills beyond — a breathtaking reward for your climb.

Morning Vinyasa Flow in the Conservatory with Jenny

Sunrise Yoga by the Lochside with Laura
Greet the day with a gentle sunrise yoga practice by the tranquil lochside. As the first light reflects on the water, you’ll move mindfully through stretches and breathing exercises to awaken the body and calm the mind. Be sure to wrap up warmly, and if the weather turns, we’ll continue the practice in the Conservatory, overlooking peaceful woodland, ensuring a serene and inspiring start to your day, whatever the conditions. 

 

Cold Dip at Broxburn Reservoir

Cold water immersion can boost circulation, increase energy, strengthen the immune system, and leave you feeling invigorated and alive. This experience is fully guided by two qualified instructors, ensuring safety, support, and proper technique for all participants. Whether you’re a seasoned cold-water enthusiast or trying it for the first time, this dip promises a refreshing challenge and a revitalizing start to your day.

 

Tai Chi Workshop in the Castle with Shante 
Discover the art of Tai Chi in the serene and historic surroundings of the Castle Room. Wheel Yoga Workshop with Kia

Yin Yoga with Props with Eve 
Slow down, unwind, and sink deeply into your practice with Yin Yoga using props. Props such as bolsters, blocks, and blankets are used to support the body, allowing you to fully relax, open safely, and cultivate mindfulness. Yoga Nidra in the Castle with Priyanka
