About me
I am a Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered and British Psychological Society (BPS) Chartered Sport & Exercise Psychologist. My applied work has spanned a variety of sports but latterly I have worked almost exclusively in professional soccer.
My doctoral research has also been rooted in soccer, exploring contemporary methods and hybrid learning pedagogy for promoting the psychosocial development in young players.
I use Acceptance & Commitment Therapy/Training and Personal Construct Psychology in my applied practice. I have also contributed to the field through holding several committee roles with BPS Division of Sport & Exercise Psychology, including co-leading national conferences in 2023 and 2025.
My research interests lie in applications of sport psychology. I am particularly interested in interventions within soccer and other team sports. This may form part of talent development or psychosocial skills and attributes.
