Abstract
In this chapter we take a creative-relational approach to exploring our experiences of learning and supervising autoethnography. We recreate and reflect on moments of our own practice as qualitative researchers, students, and supervisors of autoethnography to share lessons and insights that—with hindsight—have been significant for us. In particular, we consider the importance of creativity, embodied practice, caring relationships, tuning in to our senses, openness to the unexpected, and community connectedness.
