Ellie Hammond is the 2026/27 President of the Stirling Students’ Union. Originally from Strathaven, South Lanarkshire, she moved to Stirling to study BA (Hons) English Studies and Film & Media at the University of Stirling.
Ellie was very heavily involved in various student societies and the student movement whilst studying and has gone on to advocate nationally on topics such as gender-based violence and global environmental politics. Ellie was also the 2025/26 Vice President of Communities.
